The Campus Center for Health and Optimum Performance (CC-HOP) houses our 7th and 8th quarter Clinic Labs.

All Life University Family may receive complimentary chiropractic care, including x-ray and physiotherapy services in the Center for Health and Optimum Performance (CHOP). This includes all faculty, staff, students, and their Immediate families.

About the Center                                                                     

The LIFE U Fitness Center offers a wide array of equipment, activities, and fitness programs to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff on campus. Come enjoy our fitness center and have fun!

Using the Center

Your student ID number can be used to access the facility.

An up-to-date waiver must be on file with the Wellness Center. These can be completed at Orientation or at your first visit to the Wellness Center.

Students’ spouses/significant others may use the facility for no charge. Please see Pat Banks, Director Campus Recreation and Wellness, for more information.

Lockers

Small lockers are available to rent for $15 per quarter. Large lockers are available for $20 per quarter. Large lockers are only available in the women’s locker room.

Designated lockers are available for daily use at no charge. Items In these lockers must be removed after using the facility that day.

 Group Fitness

Fitness Classes

Group fitness classes are free for all students faculty and staff! Check out our group fitness classes on the My Rec Portal Mobile app.

Personal Training

Group personal training one-on-one training sessions are available to all LIFE U Fitness Center patrons. Depending on your fitness goals, exercise experience, and health history, we will recommend the appropriate training program for you.

Personal Training Assessment is free. Visit the My Rec Portal mobile app for rates for students, faculty and staff.

Intramurals Sports

Intramural Sports are designed to provide an opportunity for all students, faculty and staff to participate in organized recreational activities. Structured leagues and tournaments are offered in a diverse array of sporting activities such as:

Basketball

Softball

Soccer

Volleyball

Golf Scrambles 

There are no practices and no experience is necessary. You can create a team, join a team, or sign up as a free agent.

Sport Clubs

Sport Clubs are student-lead and student-ran organizations. Sport clubs offer students the opportunity to take part in inter-collegiate competition and focus on developing student leaders. For a list of current sport clubs on campus, visit our page or go to http://www.imleagues.com/life.

Did not see a sport that interests you? Start a new one! Campus Recreation and Wellness is open to helping students start their own club. We will work closely with you to ensure that you have everything you need to get the club started.

Each sport club must have an appointed advisor who is a faculty or staff member at the university as well as a president, vice president and someone sho serves as the risk management officer.
