A Facilities Management Area of Support
Auxiliary Services are the support services that are provided for students, faculty, and staff. These support services are provided to make the university experience successful for students, faculty, and staff, as well as our guests and visitors. Auxiliary Services manages on campus vending machines, Eagle Card Services, Life U Shop, Dining Services, Shuttle Services, and Camps and Conferences. Auxiliary Services provides essential services that enhance and improve the customer experience.
Dining Services
Lyceum Dining Hall, Grab & Go, Socrates Café, and Plato II Go and Eagles Landing
Lyceum Dining Hall is located in the Commons Residence Hall and offers an “all you can eat” cafeteria experience.
Socrates Café, located in the CGUS (Center for Graduate & Undergraduate Studies) building, is an active place for students and the LIFE Community to eat, study or just socialize.
Peachtree Subs features our fresh sandwiches, subs, and salads.
Plato II Go is where our own Starbucks branded coffee shop serves all your favorite Starbucks beverages, both hot and cold. This location offers Jack and Olive grab and go options for students and staff that need a quick snack on the go.

SPECIAL SERVICE DAYS
Dining Services closures/abbreviated hours include Graduation Day, school breaks and other observed holidays. Hours of operation are subject to change during those times and will be posted accordingly.
LIFE U Shop
The Life U Shop at Life University has what you need from clinic supplies to sought after spirit wear and more! The Life U Shop is in the Center for Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, just off Socrates Cafe. Open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. For more info on the LIFE U Shop, email lifeushop@life.edu.
Shuttles
Shuttle Service
Eagle Express, our shuttle transportation system, provides safe, prompt and ADA-compliant transportation to all on-campus destinations, parking areas and to off-campus housing at , Element 41, The Beacon, Cumberland Crossing, Walmart and other destinations. We have two shuttles making stops at eight campus destinations every 10 minutes (from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.) and four off-campus destinations every 30 minutes (from 6:00 a.m. until 6 p.m.), traffic permitting. You are sure to find a route that meets your needs getting you to class and functions on time, every time. The LIFE shuttles intend to provide safe, efficient, and convenient transportation serving students, employees, and visitors. The shuttle service supports the daily routines of the campus community, operating within the Standards of Serving Lasting Purpose and intending to provide a pleasant experience for all passengers.

Shuttle Cleaning Procedures
Shuttles will be cleaned after every route finish and as occupancy allows
For hard non-porous surfaces within the interior of the vehicle such as hard seats, arm rests. door handles, seat belt buckles, lights, air controls, doors, windows, and grab handles. We will be using approved cleaners and disinfectants as per CDC and LIFE University stablished by LIFE University.
flexBucks & eBucks
flexBucks is an optional campus cash account of pre-deposited funds accessed by the cardholder and used for all eateries on campus. The University adds a matching 10% in funds as incentive to use flexBucks (i.e., you deposit $100 and a total of $110 is loaded to account. flexBucks remain from quarter to quarter until used or disenrolled. Unused flexBucks are refunded in accordance with the University refund policy.
eBucks are dining dollars that are tied to specific meal plans. eBucks roll over from Summer Quarter thru the end of the fiscal year (June 30). They can be used at any eatery on campus. Unused eBucks are forfeited.
