In September l974, Life University, Inc. was founded as a non-profit institution of higher education located in Marietta, Georgia. Governance of the University resides with its Board of Trustees.
It is the responsibility of the Life University Board of Trustees to establish the institutional mission and goals, set broad university policy, and provide guidance and oversite to ensure that policies as established by the Board are implemented and institutional goals are met. The Board of Trustees provides leadership that engenders an environment of fiscal and professional accountability and sets high academic standards to graduate individuals who personify the values of Life University - Lasting Purpose, Vitalism, and Integrity - and become contributing members of society.
