MSHS 6050 - Evaluation Fundamentals (2-0-2) This course provides the student with an introduction to the injury evaluation principles of patient care. Topics include: patient interviewing and history taking, medical documentation, monitoring vital signs, positioning, transfers, the use of assistive equipment for ADL activities, gait instruction, and wheelchair prescription and training. Students will also be introduced to goniometry, manual muscle testing, reflex testing and sensory testing.
