Business Administration, B.B.A.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program builds on the general curriculum. Students complete a comprehensive business curriculum with the functional emphasis on management.

Degree Requirements


Students receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree must complete a minimum total of 180 Quarter Credit hours of instruction.

30 Quarter Credit Hours (Allow “C” or better required in a Minor; “D” or better in an Elective)

  • Choose a Minor of 25 credit hours and 5 elective credit hours OR choose 30 credit hours of elective courses not previously taken, with at least 15 credit hours at 300 level or above. 

Additional Completion Requirements:


  1. Completion of at least four years of prescribed study, with at least 25% of coursework being earned at Life University.
  2. Satisfactory completion of all in Areas IV – V courses with a minimum grade of “C” or better.
  3. Satisfactory completion of all courses with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  4. A recommendation for graduation based on completion of the Exit Exam by the Dept. of Business faculty. Once declared a degree candidate by the Registrar’s Office, students will be invited to sit for the Exit Exam session most proximate to his/her eligible graduation ceremony. Failure to apply for graduation and/or failure to sit for the Exit Exam will preclude the student from graduation until the exam is taken.
  5. Completion of SLP requirements documented on co-curricular transcript.
  6. File a petition to graduate.
  7. Administrative and student reviews of records
    1. Registrar Office – Complete a formal academic records review
    2. Complete Exit Counseling, if applicable, online at www.StudentAid.gov
    3. Student Accounting – rectify any account balance
