Purpose: Monitor the number of credit hours taken by students in multiple programs who are not maintaining Good Standing in the Doctor of Chiropractic Program (DCP)

Doctor of Chiropractic Program (DCP) Dual Degree Course Restriction Policy

Policy Statement


Any student enrolled in DCP who is not in Good Academic Standing, but who is enrolled in a secondary program or seeking dual degrees from Life University, will be restricted as to the number of courses they can register for outside of the DCP.

Procedure(s)


The criteria to determine restrictions are as follows:

Good Standing = No Restriction

Academic Warning = Only allowed to take a maximum of 2 courses in the additional program

Academic Probation = Not allowed to take any courses in the additional program

The criteria is based on the College of Chiropractic Academic Standing Policy AS.039

DCP Dual Degree students will have their status reviewed each quarter on the first Tuesday after official grades are posted in Colleague for the quarter.
