Policy Title
Doctor of Chiropractic 1st Term GPA Requirement Policy
Policy Statement
A student enrolled in the Doctor of Chiropractic Program earning a 1st term GPA < 1.5 will be dismissed from the College of Chiropractic.
Procedure(s)
The College of Chiropractic Dean receives a list of students and their first term GPA on the day after grades are recorded by the Registrar’s office. Any student having a 1st term GPA < 1.5 will be dismissed from the College of Chiropractic. The student will receive a dismissal notification from the Dean, a hold placed on their account, and all courses chosen during pre-registratiostn for the subsequent quarter eliminated.
Any student dismissed from the Doctor of Chiropractic Program may be eligibile to return under the COC Reinstatement Policy. If the student’s 1 term GPA is < 1.5 after returning under the COC Reinstatement Policy, the student will be considered academically dismissed and will no longer be eligible for readmission.
