                  NTR 405 - Nutrition & Physical Performance (3-0-3) Prerequisite: NTR 300 and either  CHM 315 or NTR 306  This course addresses the energy transfer in the body during exercise; the macronutrients’ contribution and need in physical performance; the role vitamins and minerals play in physical performance; hydration status and fluid needs. Pharmacology and nutritional ergogenic aids in physical performance; body composition; eating disorders; and some of the facts and fallacies associated with sports nutrition are also addressed.
