HCM 450 - Quality Health Care Management & Outcomes
Prerequisite: HCM 301 & HCM 350
This course aims to introduce students to operations management and explore how healthcare organizations can use advanced methods to improve healthcare processes, delivery, and outcomes. This includes an analysis on improving patient wait times, capturing productivity, streamlining workflow, tracking performance matrixes, and improving management processes. Process improvement is measured by how Healthcare leaders can increase the quality of care, safety, delivery, reduce waste, and reduce costs of healthcare.
