HCM 410 - Health Care Informatics / Health Care information systems
Prerequisite: HCM 301
This course offers an overview of the immerging field of health informatics and analytics. It will provide students with the fundamental knowledge of the concepts of health informatics applications related to data collection, data storage, retrieval of healthcare information, and optimization of health-related data and how Healthcare Leaders can use technology in the delivery of health care. Additionally, this course will examine the fundamentals that govern critical clinical decisions, health information retrieval, telemedicine, bioinformatics, and hospital operations.
