PSY 203 - Compassion and Secular Ethics (5-2-6) (Prerequisite: PSY 101 ) This course examines the question of secular ethics, and the cultivation of values that would be involved in such an ethics, from interdisciplinary perspectives, including psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, and religious studies, as well as first-person phenomenological investigation through engagement with the actual contemplative practices that we will be studying in class.
