Degree Requirements


Students receiving an Associate of Science in Computer Information Management degree must complete a minimum total of 95 Quarter Credit hours of instruction.

Core Curriculum Offerings


Area I: Communications and Humanities 15 Quarter Credit Hours
Area II: Sciences, Mathematics and Computers 15 Quarter Credit Hours
Area III: Social Science 20 Quarter Credit Hours

Total: 50 Quarter Credit Hours


Associate Degree Offerings


Area IV: Business 10 Quarter Credit Hours
Area V: CIM Core Offerings 20 Quarter Credit Hours
Area VI: CIM Electives 15 Quarter Credit Hours

Total: 45 Quarter Credit Hours


Total Degree Requirements: 95 Quarter Credit Hours


Additional Completion Requirements


  1. Completion of at least two years of prescribed study, with at least 25% of coursework being earned at Life University.
  2. Satisfactory completion of all in Areas IV – VI courses with a minimum grade of “C” or better.
  3. Satisfactory completion of all courses with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  4. File a petition to graduate.
  5. Administrative and student reviews of records
    1. Registrar Office – Complete a formal academic records review
    2. Financial Aid Office – Exit interviews with a Counselor
    3. Student Accounting – “Perkins” Exit interview and rectify account balance
  6. Confirm CLP 090, FYE 101  and FYE 103  completion status requirements.
