Undergraduate Academic Standing Policy
Policy Statement
Good Standing Requirements:
In order to maintain Good Standing students must have a completion rate equal to or greater than 70% and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or above.
Academic Warning (AW):
Students with a cumulative GPA of 2.00-2.49 and/or have failed one course will be placed on Academic Warning.
Academic Probation (AP):
Students will be placed on Academic Probation if they have a cumulative GPA below 2.0 OR have less than a 70% completion rate of attempted coursework OR have failed more than one course in a single quarter.
Academic Dismissal (AD):
A student will be dismissed from the academic program if they fail to meet the conditions of the Academic Performance Contract.
Procedure(s)
Academic Warning Procedure: Students on Academic Warning will be restricted to registering for a maximum of 15 credit hours and will be required to meet with their assigned academic advisor.
Academic Probation Procedure: Students who are placed on academic probation must meet the following requirements:

Limited in the number of credit hours I can take each term to fifteen (15) credit hours.

Cannot register for any five-week courses without Dean’s approval.

Required to resister for LFS105 and successfully complete the course in the first quarter of the contract.

Meet with their advisor and ensure that I have an accurate academic plan in EagleNet and will adhere to this plan as created by their advisor.

Required to meet with their assigned Academic Coach to create and adhere to an Academic Recovery Plan.
