Introduction
Life University’s Master’s in Positive Psychology/General Track is a 3-quarter minimum program. The mission of the MS in Positive Psychology-General Track will be to prepare students to be competent, ethical practitioners of positive psychology. Students will develop skills in evaluation assessment, and in a variety of coaching modalities. Learners will be able to apply knowledge from various frameworks and interventions (e.g., theoretical, empirical, experiential, and vitalistic models) to a wide variety of human experiences. This program emphasizes learning, which focuses on the uniqueness of each individual and the influence of culture and ethnicity when providing services to people from diverse backgrounds. The Masters of Positive Psychology-General Track provides a systematic approach that helps students to progress in their ability to apply positive psychology in multiple environments.

- General Psychology (recommended)
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Cumulative Grade Point Average/GPA: 3.00 or higher
- Letter of intent
- CV with three recommendations
- GRE 280 cum or MAT 400; TOEFL 500-paper, 61-ibt,173 – comp
Residency Requirements
Online coursework with completion of three on-site and/or virtual residencies. Residencies are held Friday/Saturday of Week 4 and must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for completion.
Effective Fall 2020, there is a charge of $250 for each face-to-face Residency. There are no additional tuition charges for residency courses.
Total: 45 Quarter Credit Hours
*One residency option is offered each term. A total of three residencies must be completed to meet the Residency Requirement.
