PSY 242 - Research Methods in Psychology (5-0-5) Prerequisite: PSY 241 This course is designed to introduce students to research methodology in psychology. Topics covered include the scientific method, formulating hypothesis, alternatives to the experimental approach e.g., case study, naturalistic observation, field study, ex post facto study, and correlational study, the basics of experimentation and report writing.
