BIO 444 - Neuroanatomy (3-2-4) Pre-requisite: BIO 201 and BIO 203 This online course reinforces concepts of the central and peripheral nervous systems which students were introduced to in Anatomy and Physiology I and II and creates a deeper understanding of the content through an interactive online learning platform. The student will learn about basic neuroanatomy, sensory pathways, motor pathways, and the autonomic nervous system. This course includes illustrated lecture videos, engaging laboratory and drawing assignments, interactive discussion boards, and assessments to help students expand their fundamental understanding of the nervous system. By the end of this course students will have a better understanding of neuroanatomical structures and their function which will prepare them to succeed in the second part of this course series, neurophysiology.
