MBUS 5000 - Charting Your Course: MBA, Positive Leadership, & Business Fundamentals

This course is an orientation course designed to level-set students entering the MBA program. This 5- week asynchronous course includes an introduction to business fundamentals, Accounting, Finance, and Positive Leadership. This course is free of charge to and students can be admitted into this course upon acceptance into the program. This course fulfills the programmatic accreditation (ACBSP) requirements for MBA programs. In partnership with the registrar and graduate advisors, the MBA program coordinator will monitor the progress and completion of the orientation course before the drop/ withdrawal period. The MBA Program Coordinator and Graduate advisor should advise students who fail to complete the MBA orientation course that a hold will be placed on their ability to register for future courses.
