Degree Requirements
Students receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree must complete a minimum total of 180 quarter credit hours of instruction.

- Choose a Minor of 25 credit hours and 5 elective credit hours OR choose 30 credit hours of elective courses not previously taken, with at least 15 credit hours at 300 level or above. Minimum grade of C or better required for the minor.
Additional Completion Requirements
- Completion of the prescribed degree plan, with at least 25% of the coursework being earned at Life University.
- Satisfactory completion of all courses within the prescribed degree plan with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 (Good Academic Standing).
- Satisfactory completion of all courses in areas IV: Foundations to Major and V: Major Courses with a minimum grade of C or better.
- For minors: Satisfactory completion of all courses associated with the minor with an earned grade of C or better.
- Completion of the Service-Learning Project (SLP) requirements including documentation on the co-curricular transcript.
- Complete an online application for graduation three quarters prior to graduation (usually the third quarter of the junior year).
- Apply during the term in which the student has completed 130-135 of the 180 credit hours within the degree plan.
- The Registrar will provide a degree audit to the student and Advisor indicating all requirements remaining to earn the degree. Students who fail to complete the application for graduation by the deadline may be withheld from graduation until the next term.
- The student must complete the following reviews:
- Registrar’s Office – complete a formal academic records review.
- Complete Exit Counseling, if applicable, online at www.studentaid.gov
- Student Accounting – rectify any account balance.
