MSHS 6290 - Training & Testing for Sport Performance (3-0-3)
Pre-requisite: MSHS 6010
Co-requisite: MSHS 6290L
This course offers the study of integrated training principles and theories focused on the practical application of program design for sport performance. The scientific principles of program design, training, and physiological adaptations for the following will be covered: speed and agility, flexibility, balance, aerobic endurance, anaerobic endurance, strength, power, and plyometrics. Testing protocols and training methods will be evaluated.
