This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of functional and integrative nutrition, which emphasizes a holistic approach to understanding and addressing nutrition-related health issues. The role of nutrition in health and disease from a functional perspective, examining the interplay between nutrient imbalances, genetic predispositions, and lifestyle factors will be covered in this course. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, students will gain an in-depth understanding of how functional and integrative nutrition can be applied to support optimal health and well-being.
