MBUS 6520 - Leading with Impact in Healthcare

(5-0-5)

This course aims to provide healthcare managers, administrators, and leaders with the knowledge and skills to lead and positively influence their organizations. Students will explore the definition of leadership, the characteristics of a successful leader, and how these qualities are used to achieve impact in healthcare. After reviewing different levels of leadership, students will focus on how to apply leadership concepts to achieve impact in healthcare organizations. Through case studies and scenarios, participants will explore how to develop and implement effective strategies and interventions to improve healthcare programs’ outcomes.
