CHM 112 - General Chemistry II (4-2-5) (Prerequisite: CHM 111 or equivalent) This is the second in the general chemistry series which includes discussions on solutions, mole concept, equivalents, titrations, reactions dynamics, kinetic molecular theory, concentration and rate law, catalysis, equilibrium, true solutions, suspensions and colloidal dispersions, dialysis, osmosis, acid-base systems and buffers. This course consists of four hours of lecture and a two hour lab per week.
